Original Xbox

Ok so at the moment in time im in no position to buy a new xbox 360 so had to get out the old xbox, made a few mods to it, Soft modded the console using a few various guides, then upgraded the hard drive to a 500gig HD, then joined this great site link in the title, $6 a month unlimited downloads of games home-brew apps & Games, cant go wrong, even got it set-up on-line last night and got my ass handed to me on a plate at Halo 2 oh the good old times eh lol

All good fun, going to try out some new mods soon, maybe put it inside a media centre case and some lights and some better cooling make it look a little sexier than a brick lol, also some wireless controllers seems a good idea, and in the middle of making the controller port for player 4 be able to cold boot the xbox to I don't have many friends so i don't need port 4 lmao

Mobile Comic Book's

Ok so I have finally got round to getting Comic Book Reader for my Hd2 excellent app, I had one problem though the comics i "borrowed" from some sites were all in .pdf, bit of searching and i found this great app, "pdftohtml" its great your just place you're .pdf file in the program and it will rip the files out leaving you with jpg's and html files, you don't need the HTML files delete them, then the jpg's you just add them to a archive and save them as .cbr fantastic :)

here's the app, only got 10 downloads on here because don't have a premium account but can be found on google anyway

Windows 7 64bit - Bluray

So just spent the last few hours trying to get a decent Blu-ray software for the new laptop, hhmm ok I'm not spending the best part of £75 that's just bull shit, I remember when my pc first came with a DVD drive it came with CyberLink DVD that worked nice till I found better solutions.

So i just been reading though a few forums to come upon this and find this funny as hell and so typical from MS. (source in the link}

"So let me get this straight. Microsoft chose not to support BluRay playback, by design. And your advise, as a Microsoft rep., is to get third party software, which Microsoft does not recommend ? I am more than a little surprised by your answer. Why has Microsoft, by design, not supported BluRay playback.
Please don't say because of codecs, that is not an answer. It is well within Microsoft capabilities to come up with codecs that will allow Windows 7 to play back BluRay. I don't think I need to tell you that there are hundreds of thousands of people who will be affected by my problem and it deserves a better answer than what you have given me."

Now this is just funny, and the laptop is going to be exchanged,

ROM Cooking for the HD2

Ok so I have set myself the task of learning to cook ROM's, with help from the thread that's linked in the title.

So in preparation i have OSKitchen
and downloading a stock ROM now :)

Ok so today I finally got my arse in gear and started doing this, finally got the 21907 build and started hacking away the apps,

HD2 Freebies :)

Ok so we all like a little free now and again, and just thought I would post this link to show you a good site, please click a link on his site though to keep it going :)

Laptop Bios repair

So I really should of gone to school and learnt electrical and software engineering lol, £49.99 to get a bios re-programmed that fucked up because of Toshiba is Bull if you ask me, they shouldn't have such crap Bios if they don't work, or upgrade, but at least its getting sorted getting posted to a company in South Wales in the morning, shame its costing just as much to post god damn it I should learn to drive also ggrr.

Moral of the story don't do as the crap software pre-loaded tells you to do first and last time I take advice from a stupid laptop.

My Mobile Phone History

Ok so I have had the HTC HD2 since March now and i have got to say the best phone I have ever had, the obsession with phones started way back when I was 16, with the Ericsson GA 628 , Then Nokia 3210, Nokia 3310, Nokia 8210, Nokia 6310i, Nokia 7210, Sony Ericsson T68i, Sony Ericsson P900, Sony Ericsson P910, Sony Ericsson P990, Sony Ericsson M600, Nokia N93i, Sony Ericsson P1, Sony Ericsson K810, Nokia N95, BlackBerry Pearl 8120, BlackBerry Curve 8900, HTC Touch Diamond, Also in that list somewhere I don't remember when in the time-scale but also owned the NEC produced by the network 3 for the first video calling phones, (boy was they crap lol), an Apple Iphone, Sony Ericsson X1 and I think that about wraps it up really, So as you can see I have had a few phones in 11 years lol.

The first phones were just phones really as we all know and remember very well, until I got the p900 i thought a phone was to call people on, but oh was i wrong the device was amazing for its time, packed with what I still class as the best mobile phone OS yet UIQ, followed by the rest of the P-series phones the upgraded p910, then it kind of went downhill with the p-990 that was a bad phone in every way, the design was horrible the specification was dreadful, then we got onto the P1i which IMO I think was amazing and the best phone out on the market even though it was now UIQ3 and not many apps for it and a OS that was simply dead on arrival which was such a shame for a excellent device that could do everything an iphone could do before it was even released. (and yet people still think the iphone is the best device ever).

The P1i is still one of my favourite phones and i still own one now and it still works as good as release day, so works out to be the longest I have ever owned the same phone. I owned a selection of second line phones as I call them, like the BB's which are nice phones for communication but not really good for much else, Games maps really not there best feature. I then moved on to the HTC device first time I had used a Windows Mobile and have to say what a great little device the Touch Diamond was indeed, all be it a tad on the small side really to be able to do any thing productive with it a great phone to start off with, then it brings me to my HD2 well what can I say its an awesome phone in every way, its not to big even though I have been asked if it is a portable TV on a few occasions, lol, Okay so WM 6.5 is on its way out but who cares there is loads of apps for it and new ones being developed all the time, great new mods for it, it does everything i can think of that a laptop can do. I see loads of people moaning on XDA forus moaning that they want Android on the HD2 to be honest I'm not really that fussed if I think about it, there are plenty of ROM's to choose from and many different ways you can set the phone up I cant see why you would want it.

It also plays Playstation 1 games now you are able to also use the Playstation 3 Controller to play the games which makes it even more fun.

What really bugs me is when people ask what phone they should get how do I no what you're needs are, you go pick up a phone that you like and want, I would advise you to get a Smartphone every time because thats what I like and I thoroughly enjoy using, but your not going to get the same pleasure as I do from from spending the best part of all Bank Holiday Monday trying to get my phone to boot because I may have bricked it lol (yes that did happen yesterday).
